We are thrilled to update you on progress at our bespoke hillside home in Hazelwood, Gateway House.
Despite the deluge of rain this winter, progress has been extremely promising, and we are now able to confirm completion in the month of March.
External walls and hard landscaping are underway, with our stone procured from Buxton Architectural Stone. Our services are live, and we are shortly due to bring the PV solar system into operation – as well as commissioning the Air Source Heating and Air conditioning systems.
Our Masterclass kitchen, created by Mascari Design, has be installed and has surpassed both ours and our client’s expectations. Urban suede tactile tall units’ contrast against the taupe tone base units. The Dekton solid worktops are due to be stencilled shortly and we cannot wait to see the book matched island unit – giving the illusion of a solid piece of stone sitting in the heart of the home.
Campbell Watson have been busy installing the bespoke walk-in wardrobes servicing bedrooms 2 and 3. While the dressing room to the master bedroom is nearing completion and offers endless storage solutions, whilst giving a real wow factor to the master bedroom suite.
Derby Tiling have all hands-on deck, having finished the master bathroom, featuring book matched marble. Whilst the two ensuite guest bedrooms are nearing completion. They have their work cut out as the two stories of staircase are tiled (including feature wall tiling), as is the fireplace surrounds (housing our Robey’s gas fire), as well as all the entire ground floor and lower ground!
There is still a lot left to do, but each day this house really does start to feel more like a home. We can’t wait to show off the finished article in Spring.
