Also nearby in Kirk Langley, a c.10 minute drive away, is Kirk Langley CE Primary School.  As for secondary education John Port School is located in nearby Etwall which is a short c.8 minute drive away. There is also an exceptional private school offering with; Derby High School, Derby Grammar School, Reston School and Denstone College all close by, each with a fantastic bus network. 
Royal Derby Hospital, a super hospital, is just c.12 minute drive from the development. Local doctors can be found in nearby Mickleover and Brailsford.
